From August 17 through 24, 2026, $40,000 in matching funds will help your Catalyst Fund gift go even further.
Gifts of $1,000 or more will be matched dollar for dollar. Donors who have never previously supported the Catalyst Fund with a gift of $1,000 or more will unlock an additional $1,500 match.
A qualifying $1,000 gift can create $3,500 in support for the Foundation’s work in Kirkland.

The Foundation does more than distribute charitable dollars. We identify opportunities, develop partnerships, convene community leaders, raise resources, and create the structure needed to move local ideas into action.
In 2026, the Foundation brought together 118 community donors, local businesses, sponsors, students, board members, and nonprofit organizations to provide $102,935 to 28 community projects.
Fifteen projects received every dollar they requested.
When Kirkland had no open summer meal sites, the Foundation brought funders, nonprofits, schools, community groups, and local leaders together to help families access groceries, gift cards, emergency assistance, and community resources.
Since 2024, the Foundation has helped direct more than $30,000 to local music, theater, arts education, cultural programs, artist residencies, and historic preservation.
The Foundation also launched the Arts and Culture Community Impact Fund to create a dependable source of support for Kirkland’s next creative idea.
The Foundation supports neighborhood connections, community events, nonprofit partnerships, and projects that help people participate in community life and experience greater joy and belonging in Kirkland.
Since its founding, the Kirkland Community Foundation has:
• Raised approximately $1.7 million
• Supported more than 200 community projects
• Partnered with more than 80 nonprofit organizations
