Ignite Kirkland Adds New Bonus Gift Opportunity to Support Local Nonprofits

As we reach the final days of this year’s Ignite Kirkland community giving campaign, we’re adding a new way to spark generosity — and to celebrate the incredible nonprofits working every day to support Kirkland neighbors.

For November 23 and 24, the last two days of the campaign, every $100 donated to any Ignite Kirkland project will earn that nonprofit one entry into a drawing for three bonus awards:

These added gifts come directly from Amazon and Kirkland Community Foundation, and they’re our way of saying thank you — to donors, to nonprofit leaders, and to the many volunteers and community members who have shown up for Ignite this year.

Over the past two weeks, we’ve seen neighbors helping neighbors, kids pitching in their own allowance, families giving together, and nonprofits telling powerful stories of impact. The heart in this community is something special, and we are deeply grateful for the energy, joy, and kindness that have poured into this campaign.

How It Works

All donations made this Sunday and Monday (November 23–24) to an Ignite Kirkland Project apply.
Each $100 gift = one entry for the nonprofit receiving the donation.
Three nonprofits will be selected at random for the bonus gifts.
Bonus awards will not exceed the organization’s original funding request.
If a winning nonprofit has already met its goal, we’ll reach out to the donor to choose another Ignite Kirkland organization to receive the funds.

These bonus gifts are more than an incentive — they’re a reminder of what Ignite Kirkland is all about:
neighbors helping neighbors, community-led giving, and the belief that when we each do a little, we can accomplish a lot.
